Wild by Nature. Crafted for Care.

Insect nutrition for the birds, the ground, and the people who manage both.

WildWyn supplies specialist insect-based products to estates and shoots, regenerative farms, conservation projects, wild bird management and premium garden retail partners.

Putting the insects back where the countryside has lost them.

Four decades of intensive farming have stripped the invertebrates out of the British countryside. Herbicides took the weeds, insecticides took the insects that lived on them, and the birds that depended on both went the same way. The instinct to hunt them did not go anywhere.

We put insects back. Whole and dried for the birds, and as frass for the ground they feed over. From wild bird conservation and wild-release game management through to regenerative farms and garden retail, everything we supply comes from the same insect and the same idea.

Rooted in circular science and ecological restoration. For the soil, the keepers, and the birds.

WildWyn was founded by Tom Berry, one of the pioneers of the global insect sector. Having spent 12 years in Asia co-founding and building Nutrition Technologies, a pioneer in industrial scale insect rearing technology and production, Tom has brought that deep expertise back home to the UK to focus on a personal mission.

Tom created Wildwyn to bridge the gap between biological science and practical land management. By applying what he learned about circular systems and large scale production he has built a model that supports both the birds and the earth in a single sustainable cycle.

Today WildWyn supplies estates and regenerative farms with nutrient rich frass and insect larvae for wild bird conservation and wild-release game management while partnering with garden retailers to offer organic soil conditioners.

Two products, both from the same insect. One feeds birds, fish and reptiles, the other feeds the soil.

Root & Rise

A nutrient-rich natural fertiliser for plants made from 100% premium grade insect frass. Improves soil health, root strength and plant resilience.

Brook & Hollow

Whole dried black soldier fly larvae. Around 40% protein and naturally rich in highly digestible calcium, for wild birds, wild-release game birds and fish. No fillers, no additives.

The larvae are reared on pre-consumer vegetable material that would otherwise be waste. What they do not turn into protein, they turn into frass. Nothing leaves the process unused.

That is the whole of our sustainability case. It is not an add-on to the business, it is how the business works, and it is why the products cost what they do rather than more.
